Question nobody asked: How much more is Manchester City team worth since takeover?

in the two years since Manchester City first tasted the millions of the Abu Dhabi takeover, the club has been revolutionised, with only Joe Hart and Micah Richards starting both season openers from the start of the 2008/09 campaign and 2010/11.
Hart, a £600,000 signing from Shrewsbury, is comfortably the lowest transfer but on the opening day of the 2008 season when they played Aston Villa, the starting XI (Hart, Corluka, Richards, Ben-Haim, Garrido, Etuhu, Fernandes, Johnson, Petrov, Elano, Evans) cost a total of £14.6m. Fast forward two years and, with £72m on the bench, City's XI tallied to £112.6 with the Toure family (Yaya and Kolo) accounting for £40m. Hart made up the 0.6 bit.
