THERE are 21 players who have played in every Premier League game for their club this season and although one of them is Irish, the chances of him appearing in green again seems remote.
Stephen Carr, who has retired from Ireland duty, has featured in each of Birmingham's 29 Premier League fixtures, leaving him at the head of the list of Irish players in England's top division. The second one on the list isn't in Giovanni Trapattoni's squad either, with Rory Delap having missed just one of Stoke's 30 league games this season while Stoke team-mate Jonathan Walters has featured 28 times; Seamus Coleman (27 games for Everton) has yet to make a competitive appearance for Ireland.
Of those who played on Saturday, Kevin Foley is top of the list with 27 games for Wolves, the same as Stephen Ward. Kevin Doyle is the only other Irish player to have played in 25 games or more.
