QPR manager Harry Redknapp is reportedly looking to bolster his squad for next season with a couple of high-profile signings.

The London-outfit were promoted to the Premier League following a dramatic play-off victory over Derby County and Redknapp believes that strengthening the current squad will bolster their survival hopes.

Their last stint in the top-flight was noted for big money signings and huge contracts and that trend could well continue with Rio Ferdinand and Chelsea’s Frank Lampard being linked with a move to Loftus Road.

Ferdinand is out of contract after 12 years at old Trafford while Redknapp’s nephew Lampard has yet to commit to Chelsea with his contract also up in the summer.

A move to QPR would re-unite the 34 year-old Lampard with his former West Ham United manager while Ferdinand is thought to be keen for a move to London.
