'Pride of England' Jack Grealish gets hostile online reception after coming on during Villa hammering
Everything seems to have gone downhill for Jack Grealish since he opted to declare for England rather than the Republic of Ireland.
This time last year, the dynamic winger played an influential role as Aston Villa upset Liverpool to make the FA Cup final but his fortunes have dipped considerably since.
After a string of high-profile nights out that angered Aston Villa manager Remi Garde, Grealish was dropped from the squad completely and he appears to be a long way off the England call-up he desired when turning down Martin O'Neill's men.
He was given a chance to impress for Villa today... but unfortunately for Grealish, his team was 4-0 down was he was brought off the bench to trouble Chelsea.
Grealish showed glimpses of form but today was another sad chapter in what has been a nightmare season for the youngster.
It looks like Villa fans haven't forgiven him for his early season indiscretions either, as the supporters booed him as he was introduced.
