Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta says everyone at the club wants to see Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas at the Nou Camp.

The Primera Division champions have been chasing the Gunners' captain all summer, but the north London side have been unwilling to negotiate so far and there is now less than a month before the transfer window closes.

Nevertheless, Iniesta is still hopeful a deal can be struck.

He told Barca TV: "We all want him to come because he will help us to go up a level - he's very complete.

"However, he belongs to Arsenal and the two clubs must understand each other (in order for a deal to be done)."

Barcelona have already signed Spain striker David Villa this summer.

The 28-year-old former Valencia forward played alongside several of his new team-mates at the World Cup, and Iniesta believes he will fit right in at his new club.

"He will be very happy here - Barcelona's style of play is very well suited to him," he said.

Iniesta has won virtually everything there is to win in the game at club and international level following Spain's World Cup triumph in South Africa, but the mild-mannered midfielder remains as motivated as ever ahead of the new season.

"If we don't win titles, it won't be because we have already won lots. The new season is a stimulus and a motivation," he said.

"I'm going to work hard in every training session and every game to make it a great season."
