It's going to take a lot more than a head wound and staples to stop Wayne Rooney from playing in the Manchester Derby today.
The United striker required assistance on the pitch following a clash with Vincent Kompany. The staple gun was used and blood poured from Rooney's head, but the Englishman soldiered on.
