Video - Pep Guardiola's has a pretty blunt response to Roy Keane's 'Special One' tag
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was handed a chance to offer up a comment on Roy Keane’s suggestion that he was a little more special than his great rival Jose Mourinho - and his response confirmed it was a subject he was not willing to entertain.
Mourinho has been hailed as the ‘Special One’ since he proclaimed himself to be just that following his appointment as Chelsea manager back in 2004, with his enduring rivalry with Guardiola sparking a long running debate over who deserves to be given the tag.
“Mourinho reckons he’s the special one, to me this guy (Guardiola) is,” declared a typically feisty Keane in his role as an ITV pundit earlier this week, in comments that reopened a debate that may finally be answered as the duo go head-to-head in the Premier League this season.
Now Guardiola has been asked for his views on Keano’s comments, with the reporter that plucked up the courage to ask the question being met with a stony-faced response:

On this evidence, it is safe to assume this is not a subject Guardiola will be willing to address any time soon.
