He is now the all-time Premier League record holder after scoring in 11 consecutive games but a few short years ago the top flight in England was a distant dream for the Leicester man.

His neat finish against Manchester United ensured he overtook Ruud van Nistelrooy to become the outright record holder for goals in consecutive games. in the Premier League.

And, almost to the day four years ago, Vardy broke another record when he scored for Fleetwood in the Conference against Gateshead to become the first Fleetwood player to score in four consecutive games that season.

What a difference four years makes.
