Tevez going nowhere vows city manager
ROBERTO Mancini won't allow Carlos Tevez to leave Manchester City after a proposed swap deal with Inter Milan involving Samuel Eto'o fell through.
The striker, currently on duty with Argentina in the Copa America, has indicated he wants to go but Mancini will only make the move on his terms.
The former Inter boss expects Stefan Savic to arrive from Serbian side FK Partisan, while he named a host of Serie A targets that won't please their clubs.
"Yes, of course Tevez will stay, he is a fantastic player," Mancini said.
"There was talk of an exchange with Eto'o but Inter did not want to sell.
"I would say a deal for Savic has been done, but (Samir) Nasri? No, not yet.
"I like Ezequiel Lavezzi, Marek Hamsik and Edinson Cavani.
"I like Javier Pastore a little less.
"Then, when I think of Udinese, I can think of Pablo Armero and Mauricio Isla.
"And I must say Antonio Di Natale. It's a pity that he is now getting on in years."
