To make things more interesting, Stephanie has agreed to undertake a challenge from readers if she is not successful with at least one accumulator by the end of the month.

In the comment box below suggest an appropriate forfeit should the Republic of Ireland international fail to back up her bets!

Aston Villa v Manchester United – Away win

Both teams picked up good wins in the opening game. United with a 1-0 home win v Tottenham and Aston villa with the same score line away to premier league new boys Bournemouth.

This week though I think Louis van Gaal's side will be too strong at a ground where they have an excellent record.

Southampton V Everton - Draw

Both teams came away last week with the same result, each earning a 2-2 draw.

With Southampton at home this week and I may have been inclined to go with a home win, but I think the Toffees will leave the south coast with a point.

Tottenham V Stoke City – Away win

This is my gamble of the weekend. Stoke have made a statement of intent bringing in players like Shaquri and Afellay in the transfer window and I think they may cause an upset at White Hart Lane.

They claimed three points in the same fixture last season and I think lightning could well strike twice.

West Ham V Leicester City – Home win

Both teams will be brimming with confidence after good wins on the opening weekend.

West Ham surprised a few with their 2-0 win over Arsenal and I believe they will continue their winning ways against Claudio Ranieri's side.

It will be a close game but the Hammers to take the three points.

Manchester City V Chelsea - Draw

I'm hoping for an exciting game of football here as two of the big guns go head-to-head early in the season, but unfortunately I don't see this happening. I think both teams will be looking to play it safe and it will end in a low scoring draw.

These five selections are currently getting a return of €2326.45 for the five-game accumulator.
