Debut boy Steven Naismith has put Norwich a goal ahead of Liverpool after a first half in which the home side dominated against Liverpool.

Naismith latched on to a clever ball from Ireland star Wes Hoolahan to fire into the far bottom corner to give the home side a 2-1 half-time lead.

Roberto Firmino put Liverpool ahead in the 19th minute but Dieumerci Mbokami levelled matters 10 minutes later with a clever backheel finish

New Norwich City signings Ivo Pinto and Steven Naismith are handed starts by manager Alex Neil for the visit of Liverpool this afternoon.

26-year-old Pinto joined the Canneries from Dynamo Zagreb earlier this week while Naismith, an £8.5m capture from Everton, signed this week.
