Mick McCarthy is known to be a straight shooter but even by his standards, his rant after Ipswich's 1-1 draw with Norwich was noteworthy.
McCarthy's men are currently 13th in the Championship, and the ex-Ireland manager is annoyed at some of the vitriolic criticism he has been getting since the start of the season.
In quotes shared by Daily Mail journalist Kieran Gill, McCarthy bluntly shared his feelings as he described a particularly nasty encounter with fans.
"I get sick to death," he began.
"We play one bad half and we're all shit and we can't play. The manager doesn't care. Get somebody who cares. I'm a boring c***, somebody called me last week. I wish they would call it to my face on my own.
"Because his pint of lager, he would have been wearing it."
McCarthy has been in charge of Ipswich since 2012.
