Former Fulham hero Louis Saha played the villain to dramatic effect as two Everton goals in the dying minutes gave the visitors just their second win in 10 visits to Craven Cottage.

Substitute Saha's 90th-minute goal put Everton into the lead just seconds after Bobby Zamora missed a sure-fire chance at the other end having beaten Tim Howard in front of goal. Zamora's agony was compounded when Jack Rodwell followed up with a third goal just minutes later to turn a solid performance into an emphatic victory.

Substitute Bryan Ruiz had got Fulham back into the encounter in the second half after the home side had conceded just two minutes into the match from Royston Drenthe.

David Moyes, who invigorated Everton with three changes to the side that lost at Chelsea last week, was stunned as well as delighted with the late charge.

"What we needed to do was find a win from somewhere," he said. "We're in a very difficult period of games at the moment." (© Daily Telegraph, London)
