Romelu Lukaku's future looks increasingly likely to be away from Everton after his agent effectively invited a summer auction for the striker.

Fears have been growing at Goodison Park that Lukaku will seek a transfer at the end of the season due to the club's lack of Champions League football.

The 22-year-old delivered the first hint of this in March when he admitted a move to a club in the Champions League was "the next step" in his career.

He reiterated his ambitions during the international break, suggesting he wanted to play at the highest level sooner rather than later.

Now Lukaku's agent, Mino Raiola, has openly courted the attention of Europe's biggest clubs. "Lukaku? Of course, Juventus as a solution could go well," Raiola told 'Gazzetta dello Sport'. "But keep an eye on Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid too for the Everton striker."

Raiola, who also represents Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, is one of the most high-profile agents when it comes to engineering major transfer moves.

Manager Roberto Martinez is braced for several offers for his prized assets, but of greater significance will be whether the valuations of those players are met. Lukaku is valued at around £50million, which may price the likes of Juventus out of a deal.

Martinez, meanwhile, is interested in Roma's Greek international centre-back Kostas Manolas. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
