POLL: Would a move to Liverpool be the right move for Shane Long's career?

As Liverpool continue to show interest in Southampton striker Shane Long, Republic of Ireland fans will be weighing up the pros and cons of an Anfield move.
The Tipperary native was linked with a move to Merseyside in recent days, but it is believed the Saints have no interest in off-loading the striker they signed from Hull for £12m in the summer of 2014.
If Jurgen Klopp is keen to add Long to his goal-shy squad, it could represent a risk for Long as he pushes to secure a starting spot in the Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2016 line-up.
His international colleague Robbie Keane had an ill-fated seven-month stint at Anfield before returning to Tottenham Hotspur and the former Tipperary minor will be aware his playing time may well be reduced further by signing for the Reds.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman has made it clear that he is keen to keep his squad intact this month and will not consider any sale in the final two weeks of the transfer window, but would a move be in the best interests of the Ireland forward?
