O'Shea to complete Sunderland switch

JOHN O'Shea looks set to complete his £3m move to Sunderland this week.
The Waterford native has spent 12 years at Old Trafford but his time there appears to be up as Alex Ferguson makes wholesale changes to his squad in an attempt to match Barcelona.
As the loyal O'Shea's face no longer fits, he is expected to become Steve Bruce's latest addition in a busy summer of activity on Wearside.
It appears Darron Gibson's move to the Stadium of Light has been complicated by the midfielder's wage demands, while Wes Brown is also in discussions with Bruce about a potential move.
Robbie Keane is still being linked with a move to Bolton but the Ireland captain would need to take a pay cut to move to the Reebok, while Richard Dunne and Stephen Ireland have been told that they have a future at Villa Park by new boss Alex McLeish but Andy Keogh is no longer part of Mick McCarthy's plans at Wolves.
Andy Reid is looking to re-boot his career where it all began when he completes his move to Nottingham Forest this week.
The midfielder's season was disrupted by injury and a lack of game time at Sunderland and Blackpool, but Steve McClaren has handed him a lifeline after snapping the out-of-favour Ireland international up on a free transfer.
