Cheeky Leinster rugby got in on the Leicester City title party action last night when they moved to clarify that they had in fact not won the Premier League.

Twitter was awash with congratulatory messages and general amazement following Leicester City's 5,000-1 Premier League title win that was secured when Tottenham were held to a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

To be fair, at the start of the Premier League back in August, people would have given Leinster as much chance to win the Premier League as Leicester.

It seems one fan did indeed tweet Leinster rugby congratulating them on their 'Premier League win'.
