Mourinho the only man for Manchester United job - Duff

Damien Duff believes that Manchester United will have to make Jose Mourinho their next manager or else prepare for a period of Manchester City domination.
The ex-Chelsea star feels that his old manager is exactly what United need given Pep Guardiola's imminent arrival at City - the 37-year-old has first-hand knowledge of City's plans to progress to the next level having lined out for their sister club in Melbourne.
"I think he (Mourinho) is the only man for the job," says Duff. "After Guardiola signing with City, United have to make a massive statement. There's no bigger (one) than that.
"I wouldn't say City are guaranteed trophies, but knowing the way they work from my time at Melbourne I could see them steamrolling teams."
Duff is thrilled that his other boss at Chelsea, Claudio Ranieri, is challenging for the title at Leicester but is unsure if they'll enjoy a fairytale ending.
"I'm still just expecting them to slip up," he says. "It just shows you how far hard work and togetherness and hunger can get you. He (Ranieri) is an amazing guy. I want him to do well."
