'We've sold our soul for Mourinho' - Man United fans react to Ryan Giggs' Old Trafford exit

Manchester United have confirmed Ryan Giggs' 29-year-long association with the club has been brought to an end.
The 42-year-old, who spent two years working as Louis van Gaal’s assistant manager, will not be part of Jose Mourinho’s backroom team for the 2016/17 season.
Giggs had considered staying on at Old Trafford under Mourinho, who replaced Van Gaal as the club's manager in May.
The Portuguese coach, however, wished to appoint his long-standing deputy Rui Faria as United's new assistant.
Giggs has ultimately decided against remaining at the club in a lesser role and will try his hand at management elsewhere.
There has been a mixed reaction to the announcement on Twitter:
I'm not Giggs' biggest fan but him leaving is an early indicator of the soul selling involved with employing Mourinho.— Gaucho (@BiasedNeutral) July 2, 2016

Giggs mentions having "two great managerial mentors" in Fergie and LvG and congratulates Mourinho but no mention of Moyes in letter #MUFC— Shamoon Hafez (@ShamoonHafez) July 2, 2016
Giggs MUFC statement will have been drafted, redrafted & pored over. Leaving out Moyes won't have been an oversight pic.twitter.com/ZBXRnJhjZr— Sam Wallace (@SamWallaceTel) July 2, 2016
Ryan Giggs is officially gone from Man United. Don't know why Mourinho didn't keep him around, he said he'd treat him like a brother.— Rob Wright (@wright_rob) July 2, 2016
