Anthony Martial made his second appearance for France last night since joining Manchester United, but was again unable to make much of an impact on the match.

The youngster collected his second international cap with a 15 minute substitute appearance in a 2-1 win over Serbia after coming on for Mathieu Valbuena.

With a possible Manchester United debut this coming weekend following his £36m switch, the 19-year-old would have been keen to make an impression. But like the 16 minutes he played against Portugal last week, he found it difficult to do so.

Martial could boast 100 per cent passing accuracy after the game, but only attempted to find a team-mate on six occasions. He attempted two dribbles, with one coming off. In total he had 10 touches.

Whoscored.com, who analysed the performance of every player taking part in the match in Bordeaux, rated Martial at 6.22. That score made the former Monaco player the worst French international to play a part, with the exception of Moussa Sissoko, who came on as an 89th minute substitute.
