After all the talk, the long-running saga concerning Paul Pogba's appears set to reach its conclusion within "a matter of hours", according to Italian website Il Tempo.

The website has claimed that the Juventus midfielder will fly into Manchester on Thursday for a medical before joining Jose Mourinho's Manchester United ahead of this weekend's Community Shield final against Leicester City.

Elsewhere, reports have claimed the 23 year-old French international will sign a deal worth around £275,000 a week.

Dwight Yorke, the former Manchester United striker meanwhile, has chipped in by saying that he thought the 23 year-old is worth £100m.

“He’s got that presence in midfield and can get forward when he needs to, so he’s obviously got something to be worth £100m.

“The Premier League has become such a global spectacle and the revenue that is created by teams is enormous now, but that’s the modern day game, I’m afraid. That’s just the way it is. I’m sure Pogba will be a great acquisition to the Manchester United squad.”

Bruma, the Galatasaray winger, is another name being linked with Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old Portugal winger played in his side’s 5-2 defeat against United in Gothenburg on Saturday and received some words of encourage from compatriot Jose Mourinho after the final whistle.

"He congratulated me for the performance and said he was impressed with me," Bruma said. "He promised to closely monitor my work and said I could play for the national team soon.

According to ESPN, the Super Lig club are keen to keep hold of Bruma despite speculation linking him with United and PSV Eindhoven.
