The website Football Leaks have made another amazing revelation by publishing the failed contract that almost saw David de Gea swap Manchester United for Real Madrid.
Details of transfers involving Gareth Bale, Mesut Ozil, Radamel Falcao, Anthony Martial and Toni Kroos have appeared online in recent weeks and now details of a deal that didn't go through have emerged.
Real Madrid's lengthy pursuit of the Spanish international netminder was one of the biggest stories of last summer's transfer window.
The negotiations continued right up until the end of the summer transfer window in Spain but when it collapsed both sides blamed each other for not being able to get the transfer through.
Widespread reports suggested that a dodgy fax machine used by Real could have been the reason why the deal was scuppered.
The contracts leaked online reveal that De Gea stood to earn €11m-a-year in a deal to keep him at the Bernabeu until the summer of 2021, with additional add-ons depending on trophies won.
Real Madrid are likely to try and lure De Gea, who has been in incredible form for Man United this season, away from Old Trafford again this summer
The contracts are in Spanish and are not that easy to read due to their quality.
