Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has handed Henrikh Mkhitaryan his first competitive start for this afternoon’s derby, while City boss Pep Guardiola has done likewise with goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
Mourinho has also opted to drop Anthony Martial to the bench and drafted in Jesse Lingard. The change in widemen also sees Juan Mata take his place among the replacements.
Otherwise, it’s a familiar looking United outfit with David De Gea in goals behind Daley Blind and Eric Bailly, as Luke Shaw and Antonio Valencia line out at full back.
Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini remain in the engine room, while Wayne Rooney will play just off Zlatan Ibrahimović.
In the absence of the suspended Sergio Aguero, Guardiola has started both Nolito and Kelechi Iheanacho.
Bravo will make his club debut between the sticks, with Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva and Raheem Sterling comprising an exciting midfield attacking trident.
