Gary Neville tells Jose Mourinho to weed out Manchester United media mole

Gary Neville has urged Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho to identify the mole that is leaking negative information to the media, as cracks already appear to be opening up in his Old Trafford set-up a few weeks into the season.
A report carried by Independent.ie suggesting United players have been “shocked” by Mourinho’s hardline approach and his public criticism of players such as Luke Shaw, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard.
While some speculative newspaper stories tend to be dismissed for their lack of credibility, the article by James Ducker appeared to be loaded with information that had been fed to the reporter by an Old Trafford insider.
That is certainly the way Neville viewed the report, as he offered up this tweet to suggest a senior United contact was briefing against Mourinho after a hat-trick of defeats against Manchester City, Feyenoord and Watford in recent days.
Mourinho and his staff will need to monitor media activity in the coming days, with any more stories of this inflammatory nature likely to unsettle a United squad that have clearly had their confidence hit by a rapid fall from grace in their last three matches.
It is far too early to suggest the wheels are falling off his Manchester United dream, but this has certainly been a week that has tested him to the full.
Leaks already after one bad week! Embarrassing!! https://t.co/VS6lViGywD— Gary Neville (@GNev2) September 20, 2016
