Man United were 'marooned somewhere in China' following emergency landing
Jose Mourinho's first pre-season trip with Manchester United has gone from bad to worse after his squad's plane was forced into an emergency landing in China.
Man United's first game on the tour ended in a 4-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund, and the team's travel troubles are far from an ideal way to prepare for Mourinho's first Manchester derby in Beijing on Monday.
The Telegraph are reporting that the team were 'marooned somewhere in China' after bad weather forced their flight into an unscheduled stop, although the delay is unlikely to impact tomorrow's game.
Memphis Depay took to Facebook to offer some further details.
"Lost somewhere in China," he wrote.
The Dutch winger also posted a video after the team flight landed.
