Manchester United are set to offer full-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson a new deal that will see the 18-year-old see a significant increase in wages.
The 18-year-old has impressed in recent weeks, breaking into the first team and impressing in the 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield a week ago. The full back has made seven appearances in the first-team and represented the England U19s last November.
Under pressure Louis Van Gaal has sanctioned a new £10,000-a-week deal this week, according to the Daily Mirror.
That figure would represent a 500 per cent pay rise for the left-back, who reportedly earns around £2,000-a-week at the moment.
First-choice left back Luke Shaw is a long-term casualty after his double leg break in September, while Marcos Rojo is recovering from shoulder surgery.
