Paul Pogba showed some improved form for Man United last weekend but his stunning sliced volley from outside the box wasn't enough to keep him off a list of the worst summer signings released today.

Compiled by the Telegraph, ten players were singled out from the large amount who arrived in the Premier League during last summer, with Manchester United getting two entrants on the list.

Pogba, the world record transfer who has struggled to live up to his lofty price tag, and Henrik Mkhitaryan, the ex-Dortmund attacking star who has already been frozen out at Old Trafford by Jose Mourinho, have both been chosen alongside other big money underperformers such as Man City's Leroy Sane and Spurs' Vincent Janssen..

Sunderland's Didier Ndong, Crystal Palace's James Tomkins and Bournemouth's Jordon Ibe are also included, with the latter struggling after a £15m move from Liverpool.

The list is completed by Borja Baston (Swansea), Papy Djilobodji (Sunderland) and Moussa Sissoko (Spurs).
