They were expected to be fighting for the Premier League title at the end of their first season in Manchester but instead Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola will do battle for a Champions League spot in tomorrow night's derby clash.

The Red Devils are just one point outside the top four at the moment and would move into the Champions League places if they can beat their rivals at the Ethiad Stadium.

Ahead of the eagerly anticipated fixture, Sky Sports have compiled a combined XI based on statistics, with Guardiola's men edging United with six players included.

Here is the full composite team (4-4-2):

David de Gea, Antonio Valencia, Nicolas Otamendi, Daley Blind, Aleksandar Kolarov, Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Paul Pogba, Kevin De Bruyne, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Sergio Aguero.
