Liverpool Twitter account unenthusiastic about Jamie Vardy's 'goal of the decade'
Jamie Vardy's opening goal for Leicester against Liverpool was immediately hailed as the "goal of the decade".
That was the view of Gary Lineker, who it might be said is a bit biased considering he was born in Leicester and started his career there.
But even if the reaction of the Match of the Day presenter was a bit over the top, it definitely captured the quality of the goal better than Liverpool's Twitter account.
In muted tones, @LFC wrote: "The hosts take the lead as Vardy latches onto a ball forward and lobs a volley over Mignolet and into the top corner".

The rest of Twitter was reacting more along the lines of Lineker after the volleyed strike that flew over the head of Simon Mignolet and into the back of the net...
