It has been a busy day for Liverpool in the transfer market with two first team players set to depart for new clubs.

Bournemouth have had a £15m bid for Jordon Ibe accepted while Turkish side Fenerbahce are on the verge of completing the signing of long-time Liverpool centre back Martin Skrtel, according to the BBC.

The Slovakian has been a mainstay in the Liverpool team for years but injuries and poor form limited his opportunities under Jurgen Klopp last season, with the German manager prepared to let the defender go for £5.5m as a result.

With Klopp now in his first summer transfer window, he isn't wasting any time in revamping his team - as well as the aforementioned duo, Kolo Toure has already left the club and misfiring striker Christian Benteke is expected to depart in the near future as well.

Klopp has opted to cut a number of players adrift while also welcoming in a trio of new faces - Southampton winger Sadio Mane, Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius and Schalke defender Joel Matip.
