Liverpool fans didn't hold back in their stinging criticism of Martin Skrtel on Sunday following their 3-2 defeat away at Southampton.

The Reds had been 2-0 to the good but were pegged back in the second half, with the winning goal coming from a ghastly mix-up in the Liverpool backline.

Goalkeeper Mignolet couldn't clear the ball properly, before Skrtel steamed in, upended teammate Joe Allen and looked on as Southampton exploited the space he had left to steal the win through Sadio Mané.

To say Liverpool fans gave the Slovakian centre-back both barrels feels like an understatement.
