STEPHEN KELLY has joined Reading from Fulham for an undisclosed fee. The Dubliner was a Fulham regular last season but fell down the pecking order.
The 29-year-old's arrival at Reading could be bad news for veteran Ian Harte, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
"I'm delighted to have Stephen here," said Reading boss Brian McDermott.
Meanwhile, former Galway United winger Jay O'Shea has joined Chesterfield United after being released by MK Dons.
• Borussia Dortmund have signed former midfielder Nuri Sahin on loan from Real Madrid until the end of the 2013/14 season. The 24-year-old has spent the last six months on loan at Liverpool from Madrid.
