One interesting football storyline to follow over the summer months is how Jurgen Klopp goes about strengthening his Liverpool squad.
The German took over in October so it will be his first summer transfer window and he has already revealed one area of the team that he wants to improve. Speaking over the weekend, Klopp acknowledged that Liverpool's defence needs reinforcements but according to France Football, he also has his eye on a highly rated PSG midfielder.
Argentine international Javier Pastore plays as an attacking midfielder and has been a key player over the last number of years for the French champions. However, France Football suggest that if the Parisians get a good offer for their man they might be willing to part with Pastore.
According to the magazine, Klopp sent Liverpool chief scout Kevin Hunt to Paris last weekend to watch Pastore in the game against Rennes, while he also wanted to monitor 19-year-old centre back Mamadou Doucoure.
It would be interesting to see how Pastore would fit in at Liverpool as they already have a number of attacking midfielders in Adam Lallana, Philippe Countinho and Roberto Firmino.
