John Giles: Brendan Rodgers should walk away if Balotelli signs for Liverpool
Top pundit says Mario is nothing but bad news

John Giles has claimed that the decision to sign Mario Balotelli is not Brendan Rodgers' and the Liverpool manager should walk away from the club if the Italian completes his £16m move.
Ireland's top pundit made the sensational claims in today's Herald, saying: "I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing.
"They just got rid of one trouble-maker, Luis Suarez, and now they've brought in another.
"First and foremost, I cannot believe that Brendan Rodgers made the decision. A few weeks ago, Rodgers stated very clearly what he felt about the idea. If he doesn't want him, he should walk away."
When Liverpool's interest in Balotelli was first muted, Rodgers said: "I can categorically tell you Mario Balotelli will not be at Liverpool."
And that is enough evidence for Giles.
"Anyone reading that can only think that he didn't want Balotelli and, let's be honest, why would he? He saw what everyone saw. He saw how badly Balotelli behaved at Manchester City, how disruptive he was. He does the same wherever he is."
