Jack Grealish is likely to miss Aston Villa's match at Southampton, after being told to train with the club's Under-21s for another week.
Grealish, 20, will spend a second week with the development squad and is unlikely to be included in Remi Garde's plans for this the trip to St Mary's on Saturday.
The forward was ordered to train away from the Villa first team and branded "unprofessional" by Garde last week, after footage emerged of him in a Manchester nightclub.
Grealish was also alleged to have partied into the early hours in a Birmingham hotel, less than 24 hours after a 4-0 thrashing at Everton on November 21.
Despite Villa's home defeat by Watford on Saturday, Garde is not ready to reintegrate Grealish into his first-team squad, and will continue his hardline stance.
Last week the Villa manager said: "You have to behave as a professional and it was not the case this time for Jack. He will not play with us, which is already a big punishment for a player. Now we will see the next step."
The latest incidents were not the first in Grealish's time at Villa. Newspaper photographs appeared to show him flat on his back in a bar area in Tenerife in the summer, and he was also shown allegedly inhaling laughing gas.
Villa are bottom of the Premier League and seven points adrift of 17th-placed Newcastle United.
Grealish's continued absence could provide an opportunity for Adama Traore. The 19-year-old winger joined Villa from Barcelona for £7 m in the summer transfer window, but is still waiting for his first Premier League start.
He came on as a substitute in last the 3-2 defeat by Watford, and Garde was present when Traore was given a run-out with Villa's reserves in a 2-2 draw with Blackburn on Monday. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
