I don't want to leave United, insists Herrera
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has stressed he is "very happy" at Old Trafford after a report emerged that he may be unsettled.
The 26-year-old Spaniard has missed United's past two games with a hamstring injury but has not always been a first-choice selection when fit under Louis van Gaal anyway.
Van Gaal has utilised him in a variety of different positions and one English newspaper claimed Herrera would seek discussions about his future with the club.
However, in a message posted on Twitter yesterday, Herrera attempted to allay fears he is unhappy.
Alongside a picture containing part of an interview he did with the club's match-day programme for last week's game against PSV Eindhoven, Herrera said: "Interview given last week. Very happy at Manchester United."
The image contains the pull quote: "I don't want this dream to finish. I have to play as well as possible if I want to play as long as I can at this club."
Herrera has made 45 appearances and scored 11 times since moving to England.
