Hull survive scare to secure Wembley final

Derby had to create play-off history by overturning a three-goal first-leg deficit - and they almost did it with a hugely impressive performance which fell just short.

Johnny Russell, just one of several Derby players who made classy contributions, gave them an early lead before an own goal from Andy Robertson put Derby on the brink of a remarkable recovery. 

Irish international Cyrus Christie was heavily involved in the opener but, along with compatriots Jeff Hendrick and Richard Keogh, will now concentrate on Euro 2016 preparations.

Hull City - for whom David Meyler was introduced as a 52nd-minute substitute - go on to meet Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday week at Wembley.
