Guardiola backs under-fire Bravo
Pep Guardiola remains adamant that Claudio Bravo is one of the world's best goalkeepers even though he has dropped him.
Guardiola, who picked Willy Caballero against Swansea last week, stiffens up whenever asked a question about the Chilean, after he took the controversial decision to sign him to replace Joe Hart.
The England international is performing well on loan with Torino, while Bravo has had a torrid start to 2017 and has let in six of the seven shots opposition teams have got on target.
"My opinion of Claudio remains the same," replied Guardiola. "He's one of the best in the world. His long career speaks for itself. Football, of course, here is more particular, more crosses, but he is a top, top goalkeeper."
Hart has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer and Guardiola does not look as though he will have any problem selling the 29-year-old. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
