Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be heading to Arsenal for £30m
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be set to follow Jurgen Klopp out of the Borussia Dortmund exit door and head to the Premier League with Arsenal.
According to Squawka, Arsene Wenger watched the 25-year-old striker shine against his Gunners side in the Champions League group stages this season, and is a big admirer.
The Emirates hierarchy would have to fork out a hefty sum for his services, however, thought to be in the region of £30 million.
Arsenal may have to offer James Milner a four-year contract if they are to sign the England midfielder as a free agent from Man City.
The London Evening Standard reports that the 29 year-old has so far turned down a new deal at the Etihad, with City understood to have offered a three-year extension worth £80,000 a week.
With Milner's current deal set to expire in the summer, a host of clubs have expressed an interest in signing him, with Liverpool, Valencia and Inter Milan among them.
The fact that such a proven performer will not command a transfer fee has interested Wenger, especially given Southampton's refusal to lower their £25m price tag for Morgan Schneiderlin.
Meanwhile, Wellington Silva is now eligible to play for Arsenal after receiving a Spanish passport. The 22 year-old is on loan at Spanish side Almeria, having originally signed for the Gunners in 2011 from Fluminense, only to be denied a work permit.
Arsenal and Tottenham have emerged as surprise suitors for Manchester United's Tom Cleverley, with both clubs reportedly keen on signing the midfielder on a free transfer this summer.
Sky Sports claims the north London duo are interested in recruiting the 25 year-old, who has spent this season on loan at Aston Villa.
With Cleverley not thought to be part of Louis van Gaal's long-term plans at Old Trafford, it is also believed that other clubs are interested in the midfielder - with Everton and West Ham among the names mentioned.
And finally, the Gunners are reportedly on the brink of making an £11m bid for Juventus defender Daniele Rugani.
The Italy U21 international is currently on loan in Serie A, and has not yet made a first team appearance for the Old Lady.
Rugani, 20, has made 30 appearances for Empoli this season and has greatly impressed the Juventus management with his performances while on loan.
The Turin club are set to loan Rugani out again elsewhere, which has forced the Gunners to consider making an offer for him, according to The Metro.
