'Di Maria's career hits new low' – Reaction to Anderson substitution at Turf Moor

Louis van Gaal's decision to replace record signing Angel Di Maria with Anderson was met with widespread criticism and ridicule.
The former Real Madrid star looked lively on his debut at Turf Moor, though yet again United struggled to break through and are yet to win this season after four attempts.
Van Gaal decided to withdraw the £59.7m signing in the second half, perhaps a precautionary measure as he gets back to full match fitness, but the decision to replace the Argentinian with Anderson raised many eyebrows.
The Brazilian midfielder was on loan at Fiorentina last season after falling out of favour and didn't improve his long-term chances at Old Trafford with a poor performances in the 4-0 Capital One Cup defeat at the hands of the MK Dons.
Here was some of the Twitter reaction to the tactical change.
