"This is the biggest game of the season for Liverpool fans, bigger even than the derby. And it would be a great time to beat them.
"If Andy Carroll comes in and they're without Vidic and Ferdinand, we'll cause them trouble. But Liverpool were poor against West Ham and looked to be going back to their negative ways again. I think the honeymoon period for Kenny Dalglish is over.
"A year ago, I would have been gutted to see Torres leave. But, from the start of the season, it looked as if he just didn't want to be there. I think they did well by moving so quickly to replace him.
"I've been following Liverpool since I was about four. They were on the television one night and my father pointed out Dalglish. 'He's the best player I've ever seen,' he said. From that moment, I was hooked.
"I haven't got over yet this season, but I'll possibly get across for the Monday night game against Man City. As for this one against United, I'd give us a big chance. They haven't exactly been setting the world on fire either.
"I'll watch it in the weigh-room in Naas. The first race is at half two, so I'll see the first half anyway. Might miss maybe 10 minutes of the second. I'll have to rob the remote, so the boys can't turn it off!"
Liverpool 2 (Kuyt, Suarez), United 1 (Scholes).
