IRISH international Darron Gibson could be set for his first appearance of the season for Everton in the Capital One Cup tie at Fulham.

The Derryman, who has signalled he wants a return to the Irish setup after Giovanni Trapattoni’s departure, has been out with a knee injury but manager Roberto Martinez now considers him fully fit.

Changes are expected from the side which beat West Ham at the weekend but midfielder Steven Pienaar, Antolin Alcaraz (both hamstring) and Leon Osman (groin) will not be risked.

Provisional squad: Robles, Hibbert, Heitinga, Jagielka, Oviedo, Naismith, Stones, Deulofeu, Kone, Barkley, Howard, Coleman, Mirallas, Jelavic, Baines, McCarthy, Barry, Lukaku.
