Comolli in Spurs frame
Damien Comolli could make a surprise return to Tottenham as director of football under the new management structure being considered by chairman Daniel Levy.
While the chances of Comolli, who was sacked by Spurs in 2008 to make way for the appointment of Harry Redknapp, becoming the next manager remain slim, his name has been discussed by the club along with several candidates.
The director of football system is preferred by Levy, although the interest in Comolli is surprising, given his nature of his departure from Liverpool, but the Frenchman does still have his admirers at Spurs.
Txiki Begiristain, the former Barcelona director of football, wants to be considered, while , according to club sources, Spurs are less keen on Everton boss David Moyes. (© Daily Telegraph, London)
