Phil Jagielka illustrated just how much the Everton squad is thinking about Seamus Coleman since his horrific leg break.

The Donegal native is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a double leg fracture in the 0-0 draw between Ireland and Wales in March.

Jagielka opened the scoring at Old Trafford tonight with a deft flick through the legs of David de Gea.

He used his goal celebration to show solidarity with Seamus Coleman by holding up two fingers on one hand and three on the other to signify the number 23 wore by his stricken teammate Coleman.

A touching gesture.
