The odds for this game were entirely based on history, rather than form or logic, with an erratic Arsenal 1/2 to overcome one of the league's form teams.
Having hammered West Brom in midweek, Swansea, at 6/1, represented superb value and had the confidence and quality to expose Arsenal's frailties for which they were eventually rewarded with three points.
Michu's two goals may have come late but, throughout the game, anybody who took the bet would have felt reasonably confident of cashing in.
