Chelsea to draw with Birmingham 9/2

Days before this game, Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas told his players that he didn't care what they thought of him, which, naturally, probably wasn't the rallying cry they needed.

Even against Championship opposition Chelsea look shorn of confidence, while a defence as organised as Chris Hughton's normally are was unlikely to allow Fernando Torres to end his terrible run without a goal.

Anybody who backed Birmingham would have been disappointed to hear of Torres' substitution at half-time, but, in his absence, Chelsea could only eke out a draw and reward those who continue to back against Villas-Boas turning his team's fortunes around.
