Alex McLeish's team might have attempted to bore the opposition into submission in their last few games, but even without an away win all season until Saturday, a trip to Bolton was unlikely to be daunting.

That's because Bolton have been so awful this season, with the stock of manager Owen Coyle (pictured) and star defender Gary Cahill falling dramatically from the start of the campaign.

Before Saturday, the Trotters had the league's worst defensive record and had lost 10 of their previous 13 Premier League games, meaning that the chance to more than double your money on any team playing against them should have been too good to turn down.
