Arsenal are on the verge of adding two high profile players to their squad after having bids accepted for both Valencia centre back Shkodran Mustafi and Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez
According to Jeremy Wilson of the Daily Telegraph, Arsenal have agreed bids of £35m and £17m for Mustafi and Perez respectively.
Gunners fans have been crying out for big purchases after a string of injuries in defence and a lack of cover for Olivier Giroud at the top of the Arsenal attack left the team short of options.
Mustafi has been capped 12 times for Germany, scoring at Euro 2016 against Ukraine while Perez scored 17 goals in La Liga last season for Deportivo.
Today is now the biggest day of spending in Wenger's tenure as Arsenal manager.
