Portuguese boss wary of Swedish threat

All eyes will be on two of the best players on the planet tonight as Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic face-off in the first leg of a play-off to determine which of them will miss out on the chance to grace next summer's World Cup.

Sweden go into the tie against Portugal as the underdogs, with Sunderland's Sebastian Larsson admitting: "Portugal have to be favourites in anybody's eyes."

Portugal have reached the last two major tournaments via the play-offs, but coach Paulo Bento has urged caution.

"Sweden are a quality team, very well-organised and they had a knack of reacting to adversity during qualification," Bento said.
