On the eve of the FA Cup Final - a match once regarded as the biggest in the world - our tipster kings can't find much to excite them.

The Sunday World's John Brennan began by crowing over Manchester United's victory in the Europa League, an outcome he's been tipping since the start of the season.

Both he and Niall Cronin believe that Chelsea at 5/6 are a superb shout, the latter describing it as an "incredible bet." They cite not only Chelsea's title-winning exploits but Arsenal's injury woes at the back.

The bulk of our tipsters are confident that Chelsea will claim the second League and Cup double in their history.

However, Declan Meaghar of Learn Bet Win is backing against the trend, asserting that Chelsea are slightly worse than their League position and Arsenal are slightly better. He adds that the market is inclined to over-react to reports of injuries.

But Brennan takes us on a trek down the divisions to find the bet of the football weekend.

Blackpool, now down in the 4th tier largely thanks to the far from benevolent stewardship of the charmless Karl Oyston, find themselves in the playoff final against Exeter City.

They find themselves at 17/10 to win in 90 minutes.

"Blackpool are the experts. In the last decades they have gone through seven promotions - now they've also gone through a number of relegations - but of their seven promotions, six of them have come in playoff finals.

"They were 14th in the table on the 14 February. And they made it into the playoffs. And now they've made it into the final, beating Luton, the team who just missed automatic promotion. As always happens, the team who just misses automatic promotion never get promoted through the playoffs. Blackpool are experts at it. They're 17/10 and I think it's a great bet."
